i read with interest your commentary on the definition of article. after much contemplation i want to propose my own definition. i would say that an article is any non-physical thing made of living tissue in the human body. it is a very common sense definition but not intended to be absolute.

i am going to have to disagree with you on the purpose of language. everyone knows what language means but many don’t use it correctly. i consider this to be a fatal error in my thinking. i have found the words i have been looking for but am unable to capture the essence of that which i am looking for. it may be that i am thinking in the wrong way about the problem. it seems to me that i should be collecting information from people about what they know and then trying to ascertain what i need to do. the reason i don’t think that a lot of people have realized the need for this is they think they have done that already. i guess i am an einsteincian.
